Behavioural Support

All students at WLC have an individual Behaviour Support Plan. These plans will be written by your child’s teacher with input from your child, as we encourage students to identify situations and strategies that help them when they are dysregulated. 

The underpinning philosophies of our school’s behaviour management processes are the internal control psychology of Choice Theory, and the Neuro-Sequential Model in Education framework. These evidence-based frameworks are based on the importance of strong relationships and emotional regulation to the making of positive choices.
